Pediatric Sessions If your looking at hypnotherapy to possibly help with an issue your child is having. I am very skilled at Pediatric Hypnosis and Children's EFT. Approximately forty percent of my client's are children from ages four though fourteen. I have a amazing success rate at helping children with all kinds of issues. Why am I so successful at helping children? First off many doctors or therapists are quick to analyzing the child, their looking to diagnose, and label with this disorder, or that disease. This is not because the doctors or therapists are doing anything wrong. Their doing exactly as they were taught to do in college. However, this labeling and diagnosing, prescribing of drugs , does nothing to really help the child with their issue. What is first needed to really help a child is really listening to what the child has to say, and how they are really feeling about what's happening in their life. I find that most children don't feel heard. They tell me it is very frustrating to them. Usually they have tried and tried to get people to listen to them. From what children hear, everyone knows what is best for them, and they (the child) know nothing. Does this help to empower a child to feel and think for themselves? No, it does not. In having worked with thousands of children over the past 19 years I have found over ninety percent of children's issues are from them not feeling really heard, or not feeling as though its ok to express how they are really feeling. Every child I work with knows I am really listening to them. Children have a great joy when they find someone who they feel is really listening to them and they feel comfortable sharing what their really feeling with. Upon meeting me children can tell I genuinely care about helping them. I am very skilled at getting them to really dig deep to the feelings they are really having and find out what is really bothering them. I want not only to help them, but have them do most of the work, and allow them to know that they have to ability to help themselves. I want strive to empower children to feel and think for themselves, and know they can do it. Empower a child to know they can achieve anything, they have the ability to do it, and they are going to be very happy and successful in their adult life. Free advice with regard to academic achievement Many parents think that by telling their children "Your no good, you need to do better! Your going to be sorry If you don't start paying attention in school now!" that they are making them strong, and that this is really going to help to give them what they need to succeed. This does just the opposite: A child hears "You suck today, your going to fail tomorrow, and your probably never be any good!" This becomes label and a way of life for this child and will often carry this into adulthood. If you really want to make them strong and successful then always empower your child. "You made it to this level by learning these good things, good job! The fact that you made it here so easy lets you know its going to be even easier for you to make it to this level! You are so smart, am proud of you and the fact that you are always improving and becoming better at everything you do!" Focus on the positive and build their confidence, and then continue to build their confidence they are going to know they can get straight "A's" and that it's not only do able but they will achieve it easily. Once they achieve it they will easily continue to do even better easily. Q: But my child is a D and F student, how do I focus on the positive? A: What is your child interested in? Videogames? Sports? What hobbies do they have? How good are they are what they are interested in? How hard would it be for you personally to do as good as they can at what they are interested in? What is it about school that bothers them? Are they getting along with the other students? Do they have test anxiety? These are just a few of the questions that need answered. We need to find their own personal blocks to succeeding and remove those blocks, and then focus on what they can do and build on that to allow them to be just as successful in other areas as they are with their hobbies! They can do it, they just need to know they can! Children's Issues The following all issues of children I have worked with in the past. I have helped them, to help themselves to be complete free of these issues.
